Underwear
The underwear set is composed of stockings (made with red clocks), a shift (a plain linen garment) and a set of stays (front lacing and strapless for ease of dressing and movement)
Travelling
Delie’s travelling outfit features a wax-resisted, woad-dyed jacket with a stomacher, a skirt with an embroidered hem, thick-soled boots, a white kerchief for modesty and practicality, and a green half-circle cape.
Work
Delie’s working outfit features a block-printed green jacket, without stomacher, a heavy wool skirt, a pair of old stockings (with blue clocks), and practical shoes with unfussy buckles. Her apron is heavily stained despite it being reasonably new.
Gardening
Delie’s gardening outfit features a kerchief tied around her waist and front, over her undergarments, and a pair of voluminous pants which tie at the waist. The pants are tucked into sturdy work boots. A large straw hat protects her from sunburn.
Festival
Delie’s festival outfit features a fine blouse, a brooch at her throat, a waistcoat, a full skirt with voluminous petticoats, a decorative apron, fine stockings, and her sturdy work shoes with more elaborate buckles. She also wears a crown of silk flowers.
Marriage
Delie’s wedding ensemble features a fine shirt, a fichu of blue satin tucked into her brocade waistcoat, and a full, hand-dyed skirt.
